LOKALISTA MAGAZINE

A celebration of Metro Manila’s local art, culture,
and creative communities.

Born from a three-person team, LOKALISTA documents the thriving creative scene of Metro Manila in all its forms, from visual and performing arts to music, literature, and traditional practices.

As Editor-in-Chief, I led the editorial vision with a focus on community immersion, cultural discovery, and stories that captured the realities behind the art.

The publication also introduced Bahay-Diwa, a literary supplement meaning House of the Soul, to give emerging voices a space to share original poetry. This centered on intimacy in its raw and uncensored form. I helped shape the editorial direction and worked with artist and illustrator Aldrich Rivera.
